When I first started all my prototypes would be directly created in silver, but now that the price of silver has sky rocketed I make my first 3D prototypes in copper. Sometimes you can't tell from a sketch or vision in my head whether or not a piece will translate in 3D. It is an exciting process to finally be working with the physical material and see the pieces that started as thoughts in my head take shape in reality.
